Grant was training well and flew over to the Tour of Qatar with his Drapac Porsche team in January. The first stage was a team-time trial with Drapac Porsche having a excelent ride, coming home just 16 seconds down on the stage winners Quickstep. Unfortunatly on the second stage there was a pileup in the extremely windy conditions which brought Grant down and injured his hip. He is on the mend and looking forward to ripping up the local scene before heading down to the southern states to teach them a lesson!
